Nayantara School is a unique project designed especially for working children or child laborers who are locally known as ‘Minti’. These children are seen assisting the customers in green markets by carrying their heavy goods, mostly in a basket overhead. These children ate education deprived as they work to support their families. Therefore they can not attend regular schools.

OrphansBd Foundation has started the first school of its kind in Kachukhet, which primarily targets the children in Kachukhet Bazar. In Noyontara school, the children are given lessons of moral ethics, counting abilities, and polite behaviour. To make education interesting for them, they are allowed to watch cartoons and do the artwork.

The schools start after Zuhr prayer a 1:30 pm when the market closes for prayers, so they do not have to give up their work hours. After an hour of teaching, they are given hygienic, nutritious lunch. The children are shown current affairs, and other child permitted digital content on TV to keep their attraction tied to the school. The full attendees are given interesting prizes.

The challenges team OrphansBd had behind the Noyontara school started from the planning and managing of the curriculum for the children as they were all of different ages and different mindsets. Furthermore, these children work for their families.

Therefore, they cannot hamper the working hours; that is why the Foundation had to also come up with a planned, customized schedule. Other than that, the team and management also had to stay cautious about the students' regularity in school. The team went above and beyond to ensure that students are interested in coming to school every day.
